Bologna Children's Book Fair - Visual Identity 2023
This artwork was part of the BCBF's visual identity 2023, as it's one of the 20 pieces selected for the contest "Landscapes and Portraits of BCBF".
On the occasion of the 60th edition of BCBF, the leading professional fair for children's books in the world, artists selected for the Illustrators Exhibition over the past 10 years were asked to create an illustration celebrating the experience of the BCBF and the city of Bologna. My illustration is titled Bolophant and mixes the iconic porticoes of Bologna with the legs of two colorful elephants, as an allusion to the longevity and greatness of the event. Only the 4 brand colors of the Book Fair - red, orange, magenta and black - have been used.

The visual identity of the BCBF 2023 was developed by Chialab Design. It creatively and seamlessly juxtapose portions of the 20 selected artworks.
