The 1934 World Cup was hosted by Italy, which won the tournament beating Czechoslovakia 2–1 in the final. This illustration refers to the match point scored by Angelo Schiavio. Unfortunately there aren't many pictures of the final match, unlike the previous 1930 edition, so I had to use my imagination to recreate the possible action.
A series of illustrations I did of the FIFA World Cup finals.
This one refers to the inaugural edition, which it took place in Uruguay in 1930. In the final, Uruguay defeated Argentina 4-2. The goal I chose to illustrate is the last one, scored by Héctor Castro. I looked at several pictures to get inspiration, trying to create a new image in line with the atmosphere of those times.
