History of FIFA World Cup. 1990
The 1990 World Cup, held in Italy, is widely regarded as one of the poorest World Cups ever, generating a record low goals-per-game. West Germany beat Argentina 1–0, with a late penalty kick taken by Andreas Brehme being the game's only goal.
The Old Man and the Sea.
Visiting the island of Key West, Florida inspired me this portrait of Ernest Hemingway, who lived there during the 30's. The fishbone-beard refers to one of his best-known works, The Old Man and the Sea (1952).
