Two illustrations made for Abracadabra Limited Collection by Compagnia dei Caraibi, Italian company specialized in the import and distribution of spirits and soft drinks. These works reflect the themes of Culture and Social & Gender Equality, which along with Environment and People are the key areas where the company concentrates its efforts in order to make the difference and bring about a change in the world we live in. Thanks to the team of Graphic Days® who coordinated the project! The collection is part of the “Abracadabra” project launched by Graphic Days®, which consists in 60 works donated by internationally renowned illustrators whose proceeds will be donated to the project "Give a tree" with the aim of planting new trees in the city od Torino, Italy. I've been asked by Italian publishing group QN Quotidiano Nazionale to create a couple of poster illustrations and logotypes celebrating the iconic landmarks of Milan and Bologna. The posters have been released by the local newspapers Il Giorno and Il Resto del Carlino on December 7 and 8, 2022. The logos merge the traditional foods with the most popular monuments of the two cities: Panettone and Cathedral (Duomo) for Milan; Tortellino and Two Towers for Bologna. https://www.ilrestodelcarlino.it/bologna/cosa%20fare/mania-poster-regalo-1.8359298

Thanks to Manual agency! Cover and interior illustrations for Together, magazine of Ideal Standard, focused on hospitality, sustainability and rebirth. This special edition accompanies the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Thanks to PS+A Palomba Serafini for the great art direction. The illustration for the cover story focuses on urban horticolture.
Illustration for Scaglie, the magazine of Parmigiano Reggiano, celebrating Emilia-Romagna and its less known relationship with the world of fashion. A new generation of designers like Federico Cina, Marco Rambaldi and Luca Magliano considers our territory as an essential source of inspiration to develop their unique stylistic language. As a son of this region, I’m very proud of having illustrated this piece. AD by LUZ.
Pirelli from A to Z. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Pirelli, the company magazine "World" asked writers, designers and illustrators to describe with a letter of the alphabet the values that guided Pirelli over the time. I illustrated the letter L for "Lifestyle" since Pirelli has always been identified with a style, an elegance, a way of interpreting the times that goes far beyond the tyre manufacturing - it produced raincoats and swimsuits among other things. I also tried to portray the continuity between the city of Milan today, a leading, dynamic global center, and the city at the time of Pirelli's foundation in 1872.
Thanks to AD Teresa Bellemo/Rivista Studio! Illustration for the "Including Diversity" Talk 2021, part of a broader project by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana which aims to promote inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry. Among the participants are the main Italian and international fashion companies and speakers from the world of fashion and culture.
Thanks to Alice Volontè and Andrea Vigneri for the art direction! Latest series of illustrations for Nike Coaching about how to embrace uncertainty and use it to your advantage.
Author Marygrace Taylor says you can’t avoid the unknown, but you don’t have to let it take you off your game! Thanks to AD Brian Bantog, as always. |
