The wallpaper I made for the brand new Hera Group Top Customer Service Point in Forlì aims to portray the sense of community of this city. The buildings and monuments of the main square Piazza Saffi provide a background for the people who make Forlì a vibrant and welcoming place every day. Hera is a multi-utility company operating in the distribution of gas, water, energy, and waste disposal in northern Italy. The colors of the illustration recall Hera's historic logo designed by Bob Noorda in 2002: magenta for energy, blue for water and green for the environment. The wallpaper is part of a broader project designed and developed by the architecture firm SpazioSP Studio Associato in collaboration with the creative studio Arte Vetrina Project. Illustration for Med Young, an educational and training project with the aim to generate in young people a sense of awareness and responsibility toward the Mediterranean Sea, a complex ecosystem and a unique socio-cultural heritage. I made it for CHANGE!, an exhibition organized by Palazzo Madama in Turin, Italy with the intent to raise awareness of the climate crisis and its impact in our lives. On the occasion of the Planet Week that anticipates the G7 Climate, Energy and Environment in Turin, Italy, I’ve been invited to create an illustration for CHANGE!, a collective exhibition organized by Palazzo Madama with the intent to raise awareness of the climate crisis and its impact in our lives. You can see this piece and other artworks by 20 great Italian illustrators displayed as 3x2 meters banners across the city of Turin. The September cover is about the family issues related to work life, while the October cover focuses on the kids and life at home. The two issues are meant to be juxtaposed in order to fit together. A series of illustrations for The Chronicle of Higher Education about the challenges facing small colleges and how they might surmount them - from building relationships with their communities to recruiting and retaining students.
