Ten illustrators have been asked to illustrate the stories of ten patients, and the artworks have been printed on mirrors in which visitors can look at themselves. I illustrated the story of Leonardo, a young guy whose dream was to keep working as a cowboy, in contact with nature and animals.
Making visible what is often invisible is the concept behind FUORI TUTTO, an exhibition held in Rome, Italy with the aim to turn the spotlight on Cystic Fibrosis. CF is considered to be an 'invisible' illness because its symptoms are mostly not apparent to other people in day to day life.

I illustrated the story of Leonardo, a young guy whose dream was to keep working as a cowboy, in contact with nature and animals. On the occasion of the Planet Week that anticipates the G7 Climate, Energy and Environment in Turin, Italy, I’ve been invited to create an illustration for CHANGE!, a collective exhibition organized by Palazzo Madama with the intent to raise awareness of the climate crisis and its impact in our lives. You can see this piece and other artworks by 20 great Italian illustrators displayed as 3x2 meters banners across the city of Turin.
Big thanks to ad Ale Giorgini and Prof. Giovanni Carlo Federico Villa for having me involved in this thrilling project! This piece is my contribution to the exhibition IN CAMMINO held at the prestigious Palazzo Madama in Turin, Italy (July 12 - October 13, 2023). The project tells stories from the Piedmont area crossed by the Via Francigena, the ancient road and pilgrimage route running from the cathedral city of Canterbury in England, through France and Switzerland, to Rome.
I represented the pilgrimage route like the thread of a ball of yarn that the pilgrim carries with him on his journey. The tangle represents the many kinds of motivations behind the pilgrimage: spiritual, devotional, sometimes even penitential, as it was originally in the Middle Ages. Proceeding on the journey, the skein gradually unravels until it completely dissolves at the end of the pilgrimage. Thanks to Ale Giorgini and to Professor Villa, director of Palazzo Madama, for having me involved me in this project! My contribution to EX - Illustri for Elena Xausa, an exhibition celebrating the incredible artistic and human legacy of illustrator Elena Xausa. She worked for prestigious brands and magazines, and passed away prematurely in 2022.
