Book cover illustration of "Nella casa dei tuoi sogni" (In the Dream House) by Carmen Maria Machado, published in Italy by Codice Edizioni: a chilling memoir about domestic abuse, detailing the author's abusive relationship with another woman. Thanks to Enrico Casadei and Silvia Virgillo/Puntuale, as always.    Happy to hear that these seven images have been accepted in the 3x3 Magazine International Illustration Annual No.17! The series of book cover illustrations made for Codice Edizioni got a merit, while "Phantom Gambler" made for Internazionale and "Bluebeard's Key" got honorable mentions. Huge thanks to the judges!        Book cover of Hannah Versus The Tree by Leland de la Durantaye, published in Italy by Codice Edizioni as Hannah versus l'albero (2019). The main character is Hannah Syrls, a young woman who takes revenge on her rich and ruthless family. The wolf dog in the illustration refers to Hannah's animal instinct, and the tree is the symbol of her family. Thanks to art director Enrico Casadei and Silvia Virgillo/Puntuale Creative!   Book cover of Harmless Like You by Rowan Hisayo Buchanan, published in Italy by Codice Edizioni as Innocua come te (2019). At its heart is Yuki Oyama, a Japanese girl fighting to make it as an artist, and her struggle with her decision to leave her two-year-old son, Jay. Insider tech exposé, leaked memoir-in-progress, international thriller, family drama, sex comedy, and biblical allegory, The Book of Numbers has been has been defined as “A digital-age Ulysses" by The New York Times Book Review. Cover design by Silvia Virgillo/Puntuale Creative. Thanks to AD Enrico Casadei!    I had the pleasure to do another cover illustration for Italian publishing house Einaudi. This novel by Marco Marsullo, "Due come loro", is a surreal comedy about an employee in the suicide industry, working for God and the devil at the same time. Thanks to AD Rosella Postorino and Monica Aldi, as always!    I recently had the pleasure of doing an illustration about the literary classic The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Made for Il Circolo Letterario, magazine of Italian publisher Mondadori.
