Illustration for Med Young, an educational and training project with the aim to generate in young people a sense of awareness and responsibility toward the Mediterranean Sea, a complex ecosystem and a unique socio-cultural heritage. This series of images made for Internazionale has been selected to be published in the 3x3 International Illustration Annual No.22 and the Online Gallery! The subject is how the digital revolution subverted the newspaper industry over the last decades. Huge thanks to Charles Hively and to the judges!    Two poster illustrations made for Tangerine in partnership with Bike Share Toronto. Together they're expanding access to biking and bringing more bikes to more communities across the city - and celebrating Pride Month! Illustration for Mezza Riga, literary newsletter about tennis. A clay tennis court is constructed with multiple layers which requires constant maintenance - just like the game of clay-court players, who have to build over time a relationship with this unpredictable surface, overcoming many obstacles. Thanks to Gianluca Di Tommaso at NR edizioni!  Book cover illustration for “Il gigante” (Giant: A Novel) by Edna Ferber, published in Italy by Astoria. It is a tribute to the iconic figure of James Dean, who starred in the 1956 film alongside Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson. Thanks to AD Cristina Prasso!    This should have been the cover for La Croix L'Hebdo's special issue in memory of Pope Francis. The illustration is based on an unused sketch I made for another cover project dedicated to Pope Francis in the time of Covid. Thanks anyway to AD Guillaume Suard, as usual.    |
