Thanks to AD Catherine Cobb! Pirelli from A to Z. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Pirelli, the company magazine "World" asked writers, designers and illustrators to describe with a letter of the alphabet the values that guided Pirelli over the time. I illustrated the letter L for "Lifestyle" since Pirelli has always been identified with a style, an elegance, a way of interpreting the times that goes far beyond the tyre manufacturing - it produced raincoats and swimsuits among other things. I also tried to portray the continuity between the city of Milan today, a leading, dynamic global center, and the city at the time of Pirelli's foundation in 1872.
